EndpieceDavid Wilkinson uses up the last few miligrams of tonerAs soon as the new Highway Code was published, on 28 September 2007, Mike Collins MA began to apply his formidable mental faculties to a critical analysis of its changes. His results were published in the November edition of the ADI NJC Newsletter, which IMTD (being a member of ADI NJC) received and forwarded to IMTD members at that time. That article ran to 10 pages of quality A4 reading. Mike sent me his article for inclusion in Master Tutor. Just before this edition went to print, I telephoned Mike and explained that his very worthy article would not appear. There was no one reason, but a combination of three lesser causes which, taken together, prompted my first significant editorial decision. They were:

My closing reflection is that, funnily enough, monthly electronic distribution of the Newsletter would have avoided all three of the lesser causes for not including Mike’s article in this issue.
