Each and every member of the IMTD puts driver safety beyond any other industry issue, it is our dedication and our core aims that have helped shape and define what driver training is today, and where it is heading.

  • The IMTD is concerned with road safety and driver education.
  • It believes that thorough training by competent professional instructors plays an important part in road safety by raising driving standards.
  • It seeks to keep its members informed about the latest developments and technology in road safety and driver instruction.
  • The IMTD supports continuing education for ADIs through seminars and courses, and is in favour of the NVQ.
