Introducing a minimum learning period for learner drivers (category B driving licence)
The Government are consulting on introducing a minimum learning period for learner drivers and the Institute is providing an opportunity to learn more about what the intention is and from the input and discussions formulate its response and provide background, help and reasoning to enable individuals to make their own submissions – an essential part of the consultation process.
The session will be introduced by Graham Feest F Inst MTD and led by Mike Yeomans F Inst MTD.

Graham Feest F Inst President of the Institute of Master Tutors of Driving
Graham is Road Safety Consultant with more than 50 years’ experience working
in the field of traffic and safety during which time he has gained a considerable
understanding of the driver training process and the important part played by
driver trainers. He is not only President of the Institute but also the road safety
advisor for the ADINJC
Mike Yeomans F Inst MTD Chairman of the Motor Schools Association
Mike Yeomans has extensive experience in the world of driver training
and is a director of Training UK Development.
He is currently the National Chairman of the Motor Schools Association GB;
also Honorary President of IAM Roadsmart Hull and East Riding Advanced
Motorists and an executive board member of Institute for Master Tutors of Driving.
