Sophie Lyden is a multi-award-winning tyre safety advocate, content creator, and the driving force behind Fresh Drivers UK—a platform dedicated to educating and empowering new and young drivers. As Depot Manager at Westgate Tyres in Morecambe, Sophie has combined hands-on industry experience with a passion for road safety, earning her national recognition.
Her engaging social media content and tireless campaigning have led to accolades such as the ‘Inspiring Female’ award at the Automechanika 2024 Garage Awards. Sophie also made history as the first female spokesperson for The Motor Ombudsman and has partnered with TyreSafe to promote nationwide tyre safety awareness.
Known for her approachable and relatable style, Sophie continues to inspire both the automotive industry and the wider public to prioritise tyre safety and vehicle maintenance.
