September 2026

The September IMTD Quarterly Meeting, AGM and Annual Awards Lunch was a fantastic day, bringing members and guests together for learning, discussion, networking and celebration.

We enjoyed two excellent presentations from Graham Mylward and from Mick Wright and Annabelle Priest, sparking some great conversations around cognitive impairment, changing attitudes and influencing safer behaviours.

The meeting also saw the induction of new members and the presentation of certificates for the IMTD Mark of Excellence, another positive step in recognising and promoting high professional standards.

We finished the day with our Annual Lunch and Presentation of Awards, celebrating some truly deserving individuals and organisations and their contribution to the profession and road safety.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success.

We now look forward to our final meeting of 2026 on Sunday 6th December, and to an exciting year ahead for IMTD.

June 2026

The June IMTD Quarterly Meeting saw an outstanding turnout, with a packed room, standing-room only in places, and a fantastic atmosphere throughout. Members and guests came together from across the driver training and road safety professions to listen, learn, debate, and share ideas. The meeting featured a range of thought-provoking presentations covering current challenges, emerging research, human factors, driver behaviour, training approaches, and the future of our profession. As always, the discussions were lively, respectful, and focused on improving standards and outcomes for drivers, riders, trainers, and the wider public. One of the greatest strengths of IMTD is the willingness of members to openly share knowledge, challenge thinking, and support each other's professional development. The June meeting was a perfect example of this in action. The feedback received on the day was overwhelmingly positive, with many attendees commenting on both the quality of the presentations and the value of the discussions that followed. Quite simply, if you weren't there, you missed a great meeting.

IMTD Annual General Meeting – Sunday 14th September

We were delighted to hold our Annual General Meeting on Sunday 14th September, and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to all our members, guests, and speakers who joined us.

The event was a great success, with excellent attendance and a very positive atmosphere throughout. It was especially encouraging to welcome some new faces alongside our long-standing members, reflecting the continued growth and vibrancy of our community.

One of the highlights of the meeting was the formal induction of eight new members – a truly wonderful milestone for IMTD. We warmly welcome them and look forward to the contributions they will bring.

Thank you once again to everyone who helped make the AGM such a memorable and inspiring occasion. We are excited to build on this energy as we look ahead to the year to come.
