Mike Yeomans

Mike Yeomans brings extensive experience in driver education, road safety, transport training and professional development to his role as Treasurer of the Institute of Master Tutors of Driving.

Educated at Cambridge and Manchester universities, Mike holds qualifications in teaching, psychology and driver education, alongside a Freight Haulage Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).

As Director of Training UK (Hull), Mike has worked with organisations including Hull City Council and KWL as a Safe Driving Advisor, supporting businesses with driver training, risk management and company driving policies.

His experience includes developing driver assessment systems, delivering National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme courses, Driver CPC training, health and safety risk management, and education for older drivers.

Mike has also held several prominent industry positions, including National Chairman of the Motor Schools Association of Great Britain (MSAGB), President and Chairman of IAM RoadSmart Hull and East Riding, and Road Safety Advisor to HERDI.

As IMTD Treasurer, Mike supports the effective running of the Institute and its continued commitment to raising professional standards in driver education and road safety.
