I trained as a driving instructor in 2002 and felt helpless at the number of good drivers who failed due to nerves on the day. I therefore trained as therapist in 2008 (and then to the advanced level in 2008) and wrote the original L of a way 2 Pass book. Now, along with my partner Chris (a psychotherapist), we train instructors all over the U.K. in techniques to help their anxious learners.
