I have progressed from being a franchisee of a national driving school to running my own multi car school and I encourage my team of instructors to undergo regular CPD, in the way of free weekly classroom sessions, which cover a variety of topics from fault identification to multicultural communication, and everything in between. I am a published author on the subject on choosing the right driving instructor/school,, if you would like to know more about this, please contact me. I have been working on the NDORS schemes since 2005 and is now a training quality monitor across all the police diversionary courses I also run a small business outside of the driver training industry, which I love, everyone who knows me will know that I 'think' I have a good sense of humour and enjoy working with people. I am a firm believer that having only one income stream is a dangerous place to be, so enjoy the variety of work and voluntary work I do. I am also a trustee of the Upholland U3A (assistant secretary), and the secretary of the Institute of Master Tutors of Driving (IMTD). When I am not working, I enjoy church bellringing, walking the dogs, embroidery, singing for fun, baking, and very amateur dramatics.
